Summer Camps in the planning!

Camps are places where the Gospel is introduced to children and teenagers in a natural way. Camps also encourage and strengthen young Christians through fellowship and teaching.
While there remains much uncertainty in Eastern Europe, our teams are planning for camp ministry.

Camps offer an enriching experience for many who come from poor and disadvantaged backgrounds. They are places where the Gospel is introduced to children and teenagers in a natural way. Camps also encourage and strengthen young Christians through fellowship and teaching.

We were encouraged to receive the following update from our team in Moldova.

Despite everything that is going on in the world, we continue the children's ministry. Though the situation is not stable, we have gathered a team of leaders, and plan to have the camps just like last year.

They are planning for six camps in Moldova and three in Ukraine. There may be other opportunities for day camps to be arranged.

There is the challenge of price increases which impacts on the running costs. Groceries are 30% more expensive, while fuel costs 40% more than last year, meaning that each camp will cost about £775.

This is an especially effective means of reaching people who have never previously encountered the Gospel message. Pray that the camps will be able to take place, and that they will be effective in moulding young lives for the glory of the Lord.
