LEADERSHIP SUPPORT

FLORIAN TRIFAN - ROMANIA
The most encouraging thing that has happened to us recently has been our ability to mobilize the teenagers in Scripture memorisation, and then to see how they quote Scripture from memory every Sunday during worship. We have also been very encouraged during a recent period of evangelistic emphasis.

My greatest joy has been to see how God has worked through me at these services and we have seen people under the conviction of the Holy Spirit. I thank God for His Spirit Who has guided me in preaching the Gospel.

PETER LEGKUN - MOLDOVA
We received another blessing from God. We have been asking the Lord of the Harvest for labourers and He has answered. For several years the church was praying about this and the church elected a young brother to be the right hand of the senior Pastor. We are praying now that God will strengthen this brother and that after a while the church will want to see him being ordained for the ministry. This brother is already helping much in the youth ministry.

The youth are also involved in the ministry with the orphanage. We would like to start a new project with these children. We would like to not only teach these children, but to take these orphans into our families during their school breaks and let them learn from us.

PAVOL BOMBA - SLOVAKIA
I am very grateful to my Lord that we as a fellowship have made it through the first year as a self-supporting church. For me it has meant a big increase in paper work and lots of necessary things regarding church registration. However, the Lord Himself helped me greatly in this task. Hand in hand with becoming an independent church I also have been constantly encouraging my brothers and sisters, reminding them not to be downhearted or afraid of the future, but boldly enter into God’s plans for us.

PETER MIKHALCHUK - MOLDOVA
We had an evangelical project at the end of February 2008. It was called – ‘An eye testing evangelistic clinic’. During one week four medical teams visited different villages and helped people to check their eyes and choose their glasses. In every team there were also evangelists, pastors and believers who shared their testimony with the people (about 8 people in every team). Of course in every village we had evangelistic services. We visited about forty-four villages and about 3,000 people were in the clinics and heard the Gospel.

Many adults and also children in an orphanage professed repentance and after the clinics many people who had not repented began to visit our churches and mission groups. Now our missionaries have the possibility to continue to work with people who heard the Gospel.
