New Team Members

We are pleased to announce that Rev Bill Patterson commenced as a Field Representative with SGA on 1 November 2006, filling the vacancy left when Winston Flavell returned to pastoral ministry.

In addition to ministry in Eastern Europe Bill will cover the Midlands area, maintaining existing contacts and seeking to make SGA known in other churches.

Bill comes to us with a long experience in pastoral ministry, first in Pelsall and latterly in Hinckley. For many years he has served on the Council of SGA and for most of that period was Chairman of the Mission. He has travelled extensively in Eastern Europe teaching in most of the Mission Schools in our fields of ministry. Bill will be ably supported by his wife Sheila. They have a son Stephen and a daughter Elizabeth. Please remember them in your prayers.

Mr Andrew Hill has been appointed to the position of SGA Regional Representative for the South East of England as from 1 January 2007. Andrew comes from a background with the National Library and, more recently, as a partner in literature distribution. For some time he has felt called to the work and ministry of SGA and we commend him to your prayers as he moves from Cumbria to the South East. He will be available to minister in churches and represent the work of SGA.
