Maria, who is a member of the Hermanovce church in Slovakia, where Peter Pristiak is the pastor, is currently studying at the Banska Bystrica Theological College . Last summer Peter and church planter Pierre, watched Maria working alongside the children from the gypsy community during the summer outreach. Her communication skills and acceptance by the children has been such a breakthrough that she has now been invited to become the children’s worker in the village. She will commence work in |

It was uplifting to see the Hlinne church and the Hermanovce young people taking part in a combined service with the other recently planted churches. Hermanovce is the mother church for a number of these churches including Giraltovce where they are seeing real encouragement as they reach into the community. The congregation has almost doubled in the past year. |
