Why Vehicles For Eastern Europe?
You may ask ‘Why vehicles for Eastern
Europe, when there are so many other pressing
needs in assisting those engaged in the
work of the Gospel?’
|
THE NEED
Over the years of SGA’s ministry
in Eastern Europe, we have recognised
that there are some workers in key
areas of ministry and in strategic
geographical locations, with many
commitments in the work of Mission,
but the effectiveness of their ministry
is being hindered because they have
no vehicle.
One worker we know has travelled
many miles in an old Moskovic car
which is now completely beyond repair.
This means that he is greatly hindered
in reaching the villages where he
works to fulfil his ministry. When
it has been possible, and where necessary,
SGA has helped in providing suitable
vehicles to assist a worker like this. |
THE PROVISION
Already this year we have provided
two vehicles for pastors, one of whom
is engaged in church planting, and
the other who, in addition to the
care of the local church, is involved
in the translation, publishing, and
distribution of literature. |

|
THE POLICY
Our policy is not to provide vehicles
which may be out of culture, but rather
to purchase one that is durable and
serviceable for the ministry.
We are quite aware that you may not
be able to provide all the funds necessary
to buy a vehicle but perhaps you could
assist with part of the support. |
THE REQUESTS
There are critical requests for vehicles
today, to help national workers advance
the Gospel.
Can you help? Can you pray with us
about this great need? Gifts large
and small can contribute to the provision
of vehicles to help these urgent needs. |
