Help To Reap The Harvest
Helping the unreached peoples of Eastern
Europe to have the opportunity to hear the
Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Help to reap the harvest
today
Who is best at harvesting precious
souls for the kingdom of God? The
answer is very clear – national
believers. This is why SGA’s
declared aim is to assist the Church
in Eastern Europe to become fully
equipped to fulfil the great commission
amongst its own people.
...but they need our help!
Currently we have supported hundreds
of workers financially and many are
now in self-supporting church situations.
However, many others may have to miss
great opportunities to reap that harvest
because of economic hardship and inflation
in their home lands. Here are some
examples of key workers across Eastern
Europe who each need our urgent financial
support today: |

Cezary - Poland
Eleven years ago Cezary moved to a
small town in the north west of Poland
where unemployment was 31%, resulting
in serious poverty. A church has been
planted and weekly Bible studies have
commenced in surrounding villages.
This Church, like so many others,
cannot support a pastor as most of
the believers themselves struggle
financially. SGA seeks to support
Cezary and his family annually with
£1,200 |
Nicolae - Romania
In 1990, just after the revolution
Nicolae became the pastor of four
village churches in Romania. Evangelism
is very dear to his heart and he seeks
to reach the people through many different
means. We have made funds available
to Nicolae for the purchase of a second-hand
car to help him in all his ministries.
He also serves on his denominational
council. £800 annually brings
much needed help to this one Romanian
family who struggle financially. |

Radoslav - Bulgaria
Shortly after his conversion, Radoslav
did his national service in the town
of Bankja where he led an underground
Bible study. Today he is pastoring
a church in his home town of Bourgas.
SGA’s financial support of £100
each month is so vital for his continued
ministry. As he seeks to see the church
flourish, he also has a vision to
reach the sailors and marine students
in the port of Burgas with the Gospel. |
Galina - Moldova
Christian camp director, Galina, is
one of the students at the SGA Bible
School in Moldova. Each year she organises
children’s and youth camps,
where 900 children attend. She also
organises camps for the elderly. Some
camps are planned for handicapped
children only. This ministry requires
a team of forty workers who seek to
share the Good News of the Gospel.
Galina wants to be better equipped
for this ministry as she studies at
the Mission School. To support just
one student like Galina is only £35
per month. |

Jonathan - Hungary
For six years Jonathan has been working
in Gyongyos (pop. 35,000) and has
experienced real blessing, as the
little church has grown to around
30 people under his leadership. He
rejoices in the opportunities open
to him to share the Gospel and he
regularly preaches on television.
Outreach is also carried out through
English classes. Jonathan has a vision
to see six new churches planted in
the surrounding region where there
is currently no evangelical witness.
SGA continues his support of £1000
annually. |
- SGA seeks to invest in leaders who are
being used by God today.
- Our goal is to see all the churches
and workers become self-supporting and
operating independently of foreign finance,
but this is still some way off.
- Will you or your church help national
believers in Eastern Europe reap the harvest
of souls today, by your support of a national
worker?
- Support levels vary from £35 -
£225 per month depending on the
country and on individual circumstances.
You can help reap the harvest in
various ways:
- By a single gift.
- By supporting an individual worker for
two years.
- By partnering with others to support
someone in ministry.
- By your prayers.
If you want to know more about
funding a specific national worker through
