Now Is The Time To Provide Literature

Please help us use the time we have NOW to make God’s Word knownthrough Christian Literature in Romania.

Slavic Gospel Association has always encouraged national believers, whom the Lord has gifted, to engage in a writing ministry. Over the years we have seen many able people emerge in different countries throughout Central and Eastern Europe.

Ben Faragau is one writer with whom SGA has been involved and he has been seeking to provide good Commentaries and Bible Study material for Romania. Ben is widely known across his own country as a Bible teacher and writer and amongst the Romanian diaspora around the world. So far he has written Commentaries on more than thirty books of the Bible, which have been used by many of the Romanian churches as their study guides.

In the Spring of 2006 Ben began to detect failing eyesight and as a result of tests he has been told that he has a degenerative disease which may eventually lead to the loss of his sight. When he became aware of this Ben’s reaction was “I will use my sight to the last drop.” Although his eyesight is already declining Ben continues to write, hoping that he can complete several unfinished manuscripts.
Because of this, we in SGA, want to help him maximise the time given to him.

We plan to:
• Fund an editor for the revision and printing of Ben’s books
• Help in the reprinting of those books which are currently out of print
• Help in the printing of several new books which are nearing completion.

All this is important for the spiritual life and maturity of the church, both in Romania and beyond its borders.

NOW IS THE TIME
We believe that now is the time to respond to the challenge by assisting in the ministry of spreading Ben’s literature in Romania.

What will it cost?
• Funding the editor for the revision and printing of Ben’s books will cost £300 per month
• Each book will cost around £2.00 to print
• For every £10 received we can help publish at least five books
• Our goal is to provide at least £25,000 which should enable the reprinting and publishing of approximately twelve books.
