Giving opportunities to many
Equipping nationals to reach their world through church planting and evangelism.

TRAINING THE NATIONALS
One of the most encouraging and fruitful aspects of SGA’s ministry is the training of nationals. Thirty years ago the Lord moved the Mission to go in this direction, initially with small beginnings during the days of Communism. From those days the ministry has grown to what it is today. We are involved with Mission Schools in Bulgaria, Hungary, Kazakstan, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia, and Slovakia. Over 300 students are attending the courses.
OPPORTUNITIES OF THE MISSION SCHOOLS
One of the advantages of this type of Mission School is the method of training that gives opportunity to many who would otherwise not be able to commit themselves to a full-time seminary course of studies. The system of having several blocks each year enables students to continue in their Christian work, or in some cases their secular employment, while preparing themselves for full-time ministry at the same time.
GOAL OF THE MISSION SCHOOLS
SGA’s goal is to teach at the level of a Bible College here in the west. The present courses were initially requested by the local church leaders who desired to see workers prepared for the sharp end of the Christian ministry. Everywhere SGA is working, there is a great need for more committed, equipped workers to engage in evangelism and church planting. The Mission Schools provide a suitable springboard for those called of God to meet this pressing need. In Moldova, for example, between 85% and 90% of those trained in the Mission School in Balti since 1993 are now engaged in Christian ministry in the country.

FRUIT FROM OUR MISSION SCHOOLS
Tibor, who will shortly be graduating from our Hungarian Mission School, is involved in planting new churches in a barren area between Budapest and the Austrian border.
Beni, who graduated from the Medias Mission School in Romania, is seeking to revive a small church that had almost closed. The Lord has blessed with a number of conversions already.
Slavic, who recently graduated from the Balti Mission School in Moldova, has seen a number of conversions in the village where he ministers, in the midst of strong opposition from the Orthodox Church. The new House of Prayer, funded by SGA, will help accommodate this growing congregation.
Vasile graduated two years ago from the School of the Prophets in Oradea, Romania, and is doing a vital ministry in a village situation where a church has been established and a building erected. The church has experienced blessing with a good number of conversions and baptisms.
Will YOU help us to continue this vital ministry so that the Gospel might be brought to the local people in their own environment?
